Tan Coffee – Jalandhar

The indoor volume is defined by an exposed concrete ceiling, track spots, and large, irregular arched window cutouts in gray plaster walls. These organic openings frame street and greenery views and give the room a sculptural, almost cave-like rhythm. Warmth comes from woven rattan pendants, cane-and-wood chairs, X-frame timber tables, a gold-veined bar front, and terracotta tile behind the brew station.

A circular window and a pebble “dry garden” with black planters mark the threshold to the outdoor deck. There, white gravel, irregular stone pavers, black woven seating, shade umbrellas, and potted tropicals create a loose courtyard between indoor rooms and the city beyond. The overall language is industrial-tropical: raw structure, curved apertures, mixed seating heights, and a tight material palette of concrete, wood, cane, black metal, and gold.
